It was intended to get Indian Americans ‘out of the woodwork’ and get them involved in politics, “and get Hillary elected. An unexpected turnout,” Anand said, considering the event was planned in three days and 60 people confirmed, but had to stop due to space constrains. The next debate party he said would be at a bigger place. He said they had a face book and twitter by the same name iAM4Hillary.
Roopa Gir encouraged guests to go the Hillary’s detailed website and look up on her vision, issues she stands for. She urged that people clearly understand the two candidates and for that they should visit both of their websites. “I actually wanted to make a comparison between Hillary’s and Trump’s vision but when I looked up Trump’s website there was really no vision,” she said. She specified that iAM4Hillary members would not be collecting any donation but she directed them to go to Hillary Clinton’s website, where they can make their contributions.
