“Super Bowl LI is an incredible opportunity to showcase Houston in a number of ways,” Houston Super Bowl Host Committee President and CEO Sallie Sargent said. “The ability to shine a spotlight on local artists and performers at Super Bowl LIVE is an example of how we will highlight the diverse cultures and incredible talent Houston has to offer to the fans and visitors in town for Super Bowl. The opportunity to tap into our own homegrown talent allows us to get everyone involved. To grow a sense of pride and ownership in our community is one of the key benefits of hosting the Super Bowl.”
